CVE-2024-21886Hig0.517.80.00Feb 28, 2024A heap buffer overflow flaw was found in the DisableDevice function in the X.Org server. This issue may lead to an application crash or, in some circumstances, remote code execution in SSH X11 forwarding environments.
CVE-2024-21885Hig0.517.80.00Feb 28, 2024A flaw was found in X.Org server. In the XISendDeviceHierarchyEvent function, it is possible to exceed the allocated array length when certain new device IDs are added to the xXIHierarchyInfo struct. This can trigger a heap buffer overflow condition, which may lead to an application crash or remote code execution in SSH X11 forwarding environments.
CVE-2016-1834Hig0.517.80.02May 20, 2016Heap-based buffer overflow in the xmlStrncat function in libxml2 before 2.9.4, as used in Apple iOS before 9.3.2, OS X before 10.11.5, tvOS before 9.2.1, and watchOS before 2.2.1, allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code or cause a denial of service (memory corruption) via a crafted XML document.
CVE-2026-20185Hig0.507.70.00May 6, 2026A vulnerability in the Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) subsystem of Cisco 350 Series Managed Switches (SG350) and Cisco 350X Series Stackable Managed Switches (SG350X) firmware could allow an authenticated, remote attacker to cause a denial of service (DoS) condition on an affected device.  This vulnerability is due to improper error handling when parsing response data for a specific SNMP request. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a specific SNMP request to an affected device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to cause the device to reload unexpectedly, resulting in a DoS condition. This vulnerability affects SNMP versions 1, 2c, and 3. To exploit this vulnerability through SNMPv2c or earlier, the attacker must know a valid read-write or read-only SNMP community string for the affected system. To exploit this vulnerability through SNMPv3, the attacker must have valid SNMP user credentials for the affected system.
CVE-2026-40614Hig0.508.80.00Apr 21, 2026PJSIP is a free and open source multimedia communication library written in C. In 2.16 and earlier, there is a buffer overflow when decoding Opus audio frames due to insufficient buffer size validation in the Opus codec decode path. The FEC decode buffers (dec_frame[].buf) were allocated based on a PCM-derived formula: (sample_rate/1000) * 60 * channel_cnt * 2. At 8 kHz mono this yields only 960 bytes, but codec_parse() can output encoded frames up to MAX_ENCODED_PACKET_SIZE (1280) bytes via opus_repacketizer_out_range(). The three pj_memcpy() calls in codec_decode() copied input->size bytes without bounds checking, causing a heap buffer overflow.
CVE-2024-56732Hig0.508.80.00Dec 27, 2024HarfBuzz is a text shaping engine. Starting with 8.5.0 through 10.0.1, there is a heap-based buffer overflow in the hb_cairo_glyphs_from_buffer function.
CVE-2022-2347Hig0.507.70.00Sep 23, 2022There exists an unchecked length field in UBoot. The U-Boot DFU implementation does not bound the length field in USB DFU download setup packets, and it does not verify that the transfer direction corresponds to the specified command. Consequently, if a physical attacker crafts a USB DFU download setup packet with a `wLength` greater than 4096 bytes, they can write beyond the heap-allocated request buffer.
CVE-2026-23827Hig0.497.50.00May 12, 2026A heap-based buffer overflow vulnerability exists in a Network management service of AOS-8 and AOS-10 that could allow an unauthenticated remote attacker to achieve remote code execution. Successful exploitation could allow an unauthenticated attacker to execute arbitrary code as a privileged user on the underlying operating system, potentially leading to a system compromise. Exploitation may also result in a denial-of-service (DoS) condition affecting the impacted system process.
CVE-2026-7040Hig0.497.50.00Apr 27, 2026Text::Minify::XS versions from 0.3.0 before 0.7.8 for Perl have a heap overflow when processing some malformed UTF-8 characters. The minify functions mishandled some malformed UTF-8 characters, leading to heap corruption. Note that the minify_utf8 function is an alias for minify.
CVE-2026-33901Hig0.497.50.00Apr 13, 2026ImageMagick is free and open-source software used for editing and manipulating digital images. In versions below both 7.1.2-19 and 6.9.13-44, a heap buffer overflow occurs in the MVG decoder that could result in an out of bounds write when processing a crafted image. This issue has been fixed in versions 6.9.13-44 and 7.1.2-19.
CVE-2026-30999Hig0.497.50.00Apr 13, 2026A heap buffer overflow in the av_bprint_finalize() function of FFmpeg v8.0.1 allows attackers to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) via a crafted input.
CVE-2026-5447Hig0.497.50.00Apr 9, 2026Heap buffer overflow in CertFromX509 via AuthorityKeyIdentifier size confusion. A heap buffer overflow occurs when converting an X.509 certificate internally due to incorrect size handling of the AuthorityKeyIdentifier extension.
CVE-2026-5201Hig0.497.50.01Mar 31, 2026A flaw was found in the gdk-pixbuf library. This heap-based buffer overflow vulnerability occurs in the JPEG image loader due to improper validation of color component counts when processing a specially crafted JPEG image. A remote attacker can exploit this flaw without user interaction, for example, via thumbnail generation. Successful exploitation leads to application crashes and denial of service (DoS) conditions.
