CVE-2022-393770.000.01Nov 8, 2022sysstat is a set of system performance tools for the Linux operating system. On 32 bit systems, in versions 9.1.16 and newer but prior to 12.7.1, allocate_structures contains a size_t overflow in sa_common.c. The allocate_structures function insufficiently checks bounds before arithmetic multiplication, allowing for an overflow in the size allocated for the buffer representing system activities. This issue may lead to Remote Code Execution (RCE). This issue has been patched in version 12.7.1.
CVE-2007-38520.000.00Aug 14, 2007The init script (sysstat.in) in sysstat 5.1.2 up to 7.1.6 creates /tmp/sysstat.run insecurely, which allows local users to execute arbitrary code.
CVE-2004-01070.000.00Apr 15, 2004The (1) post and (2) trigger scripts in sysstat 4.0.7 and earlier allow local users to overwrite arbitrary files via symlink attacks on temporary files, a different vulnerability than CVE-2004-0108.
CVE-2004-01080.000.00Apr 15, 2004The isag utility, which processes sysstat data, allows local users to overwrite arbitrary files via a symlink attack on temporary files, a different vulnerability than CAN-2004-0107.
