According to Benny Lakunishok, co-founder and CEO of Zero Networks, the solution moves beyond traditional network-level security by enabling segmentation at the application and process level. This granular approach provides deeper visibility and more precise security controls, which are crucial for managing the complex interactions of AI systems.
Lakunishok emphasized that traditional security measures, which often rely on network policies alone, are insufficient for containing AI-driven threats. He highlighted that AI agents can accelerate lateral movement within networks, making it imperative for organizations to adopt a "containment-driven mindset." By implementing robust microsegmentation, organizations can effectively prevent or significantly hinder such movements.

Lakunishok, who previously held leadership roles at Microsoft following its acquisitions of Aorato and Hexadite, brings extensive experience in security platforms and integrations. His background, including work with an elite unit within the Israel Defense Forces, informs his perspective on the need for advanced security architectures.
