Tenable is set to significantly enhance its Tenable One Exposure Management Platform by integrating Anthropic's Claude Mythos 5, a frontier AI model. This strategic move aims to equip security teams with advanced adversarial reasoning capabilities, enabling them to better anticipate and counter sophisticated cyber threats, particularly those amplified by AI.
The integration will introduce "Adversary View," the first major feature powered by Claude Mythos 5 within Tenable One. This new capability is designed to help organizations uncover complex vulnerability chains that might otherwise go unnoticed. By analyzing environmental data from an attacker's perspective, Adversary View will prioritize actions that are most effective in disrupting an attacker's progression through the network.
Security teams are currently overwhelmed by the sheer volume of security findings, a challenge exacerbated by the expanding attack surface encompassing cloud environments, operational technology (OT), shadow AI, and identity data. Traditional methods struggle to keep pace with the growing number of signals and the shrinking window for response. The process begins with the user confirming the scope of assets to be analyzed within Tenable One. A specialized harness then gathers and validates the necessary context, including existing vulnerabilities, live connections, and the aforementioned low-signal details, before feeding it to Claude Mythos 5. The AI then reasons across this comprehensive dataset to identify the most critical attack paths and provides a ranked list of decisive actions to mitigate them, which can then be acted upon within Tenable Hexa AI.
This integration represents a significant step forward in leveraging AI for exposure management.
