Simbian introduces its AI Threat Hunt Agent, completing its autonomous SecOps platform by proactively searching for and identifying past threats that evaded initial detection.

Simbian has launched its AI Threat Hunt Agent, the third component of its autonomous SecOps platform, designed to proactively investigate potential threats and identify malicious activity that may have bypassed initial defenses. This new agent aims to fill the critical gap of uncovering historical threats, complementing the existing AI SOC Agent for real-time threat neutralization and the AI Pentest Agent for proactive vulnerability discovery.
The AI Threat Hunt Agent addresses a fundamental challenge in cybersecurity: the question of "what did we miss?" By autonomously searching through historical data, potentially spanning up to a year, it provides answers to threats that may have gone undetected. This capability is crucial for organizations seeking to understand the full scope of security incidents and improve their overall detection posture. The agent's findings are fed back into the detection engineering process, leading to the creation of new rules that can catch similar threats in the future.
