Security Risk Advisors (SRA), known for its free VECTR platform, has announced the release of SCALR AI, a new, free AI platform designed to assist Security Operations Centers (SOCs). Delivered through the Azure Marketplace, SCALR AI functions as an agentive workbench, automating repetitive and time-consuming security tasks. The platform comes equipped with pre-built capabilities for incident triage and enrichment, featuring an integrated AI-driven quality review process to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
SCALR AI is offered with no limits on its free license, allowing security teams to deploy it within their own private Azure tenants. This approach ensures that sensitive security data remains within the customer's environment, addressing privacy concerns often associated with cloud-based security solutions. The platform empowers security teams to build custom workflows for various functions, including threat hunting, vulnerability management, and phishing analysis, by configuring multi-agent workflows, tools, and servers to work collaboratively.
A key feature of SCALR AI is its focus on cost management and transparency. Unlike many commercial AI security platforms that bundle costs or obscure token usage, SCALR AI provides built-in cost visibility. Security teams can monitor and manage the expenses associated with each workflow, agent, and AI model, paying only for the Azure compute resources they consume at standard Microsoft Azure rates.
Furthermore, SCALR AI supports the use of existing Large Language Models (LLMs) that security teams may already employ, preventing vendor lock-in and allowing for flexibility in AI model selection.
