SCOUTz Launches Prospect Intelligence Platform for MSPs to Enhance Sales Efforts
SCOUTz has launched an open beta for its new prospect intelligence platform, designed to equip Managed Service Providers (MSPs) with crucial, dated evidence about potential clients' environments to bolster sales engagements.

SCOUTz, a specialized prospect intelligence platform tailored for the security sales needs of Managed Service Providers (MSPs), has officially launched its open beta. This innovative tool aims to bridge the critical gap between securing a sales meeting and closing a deal by providing MSPs with actionable, dated external evidence about a prospect's IT environment before initial client interactions.
The platform operates by gathering external intelligence, including domain reviews that scrutinize aspects like email authentication, certificate validity, subdomain enumeration, and exposed services. It performs over 150 distinct checks, drawing from a live evidence registry. Crucially, this process is agentless, requiring no installation or login credentials from the prospect. Each finding is accompanied by a detailed explanation and suggested next steps, ensuring that MSPs can ask informed questions rather than relying on speculative fear-based tactics.
With explicit consent from the prospect, SCOUTz can also perform read-only checks of Microsoft 365 configurations. This includes examining identity management, application consent policies, security settings, and managed device context. The platform strictly adheres to a read-only principle, ensuring no sensitive data like emails, documents, or files are accessed, and no changes are made to the prospect's systems. This focus on transparency and non-intrusiveness is designed to build trust.
SCOUTz differentiates itself by not focusing on hypothetical dollar losses from breaches. Instead, it leverages AI to draft explanations for findings derived from deterministic checks. The platform emphasizes that external signals are not proof of internal control weaknesses but rather justifications for deeper inquiry. Every piece of data is traceable to a dated check and a named evidence source, ensuring accountability and clarity.
Beyond initial assessments, SCOUTz facilitates ongoing client management. It allows for rescans to compare new evidence against a pinned baseline, enabling subsequent quarterly reviews to focus on changes. The platform can generate client-safe reports for business owners and a more technical operator edition for internal teams, catering to different stakeholder needs.
Steve Copeland, founder of SCOUTz and CEO of RYTHMz, highlighted the platform's unique value proposition. "What none of them do is put the MSP in that room already knowing something true about the business," Copeland stated, drawing from his experience building two MSPs. He emphasized that fear might secure a meeting but erodes relationships, whereas providing concrete, dated evidence empowers informed decision-making.
The platform's development was informed by feedback from fifty MSPs across three peer communities during a closed beta phase. Participants praised its utility, with one noting, "Man, I wish I had this in the meeting I just walked out of." SCOUTz is available for a 30-day free trial, after which it is priced at $279 per month. A free public domain score is also available without signup.
SCOUTz is a product of RYTHMz, a channel-only 5G connectivity company that was recognized as the 2025 ASCII Cup Vendor of the Year. The company aims to provide MSPs with the intelligence needed to demonstrate value and prove the effectiveness of their security solutions throughout the client lifecycle.
