FastNetMon Launches Netomics for Self-Hosted BGP Routing Intelligence
FastNetMon introduces Netomics, a self-hosted platform offering comprehensive BGP routing visibility, integrating live data, RPKI validation, and AI-assisted querying without third-party dependencies.

FastNetMon has unveiled Netomics, a new self-hosted platform designed to provide deep insights into Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) routing. This comprehensive solution integrates live routing data, Internet Routing Registry (IRR) information, Resource Public Key Infrastructure (RPKI) validation, historical routing data, and AI-assisted querying into a single, unified application.
Developed with internet service providers (ISPs), cloud providers, Internet Exchange Points (IXPs), and enterprises managing extensive IP networks in mind, Netomics aims to deliver complete visibility into global internet routing. A key differentiator is its ability to operate entirely without reliance on external, third-party lookup services, ensuring data privacy and availability.
Traditionally, network engineers often juggle multiple public tools to investigate routing incidents, verify prefix ownership, confirm route origins, or analyze past routing changes. Netomics consolidates these disparate functions into one platform, running entirely within an organization's own infrastructure. This creates a trusted, internal source of truth for all routing intelligence needs.
"Internet routing has become critical operational infrastructure, yet many organisations still depend on multiple external services to understand what is happening in their own networks," stated Pavel Odintsov, Founder of FastNetMon. "We built Netomics to give operators complete ownership of their routing intelligence while making it easier to troubleshoot incidents, automate workflows and improve routing security."
The platform aggregates data from live BGP Monitoring Protocol (BMP) feeds, global routing databases, WHOIS records, Regional Internet Registry (RIR) data, geofeed information, RPKI validation, and historical routing archives. This multi-faceted approach provides a holistic and detailed view of internet routing dynamics.
By being entirely on-premises, Netomics ensures that sensitive routing intelligence remains private and is always accessible, free from the constraints of external rate limits. Its direct integration capabilities with existing network infrastructure further streamline operations and troubleshooting.
Netomics offers flexible access to its routing intelligence through a user-friendly web interface, robust REST APIs, and Prometheus metrics. It also features native Model Context Protocol (MCP) support, enabling seamless integration with automation workflows and advanced AI assistants like ChatGPT and Claude, empowering organizations to leverage routing data in novel ways.
