Cloudflare Launches Managed Cloudflare OS for Simplified Agent Workspace Deployment
Cloudflare is now offering a fully managed version of its open-source Cloudflare OS, simplifying the deployment and management of AI agent workspaces for organizations.

Cloudflare has announced the waitlist for a fully managed version of its open-source Cloudflare OS, an agent workspace designed to connect to company data and systems. This new offering aims to simplify deployment for organizations, allowing them to configure access policies and AI Gateway connections directly through the Cloudflare dashboard.
Cloudflare OS provides employees with an agent workspace that understands company operations and integrates with its data and systems. The platform is designed to handle repetitive tasks, build team tools, or facilitate a fluid transition between the two. Since its open-source release last month, thousands of organizations have adopted Cloudflare OS for tasks such as working with company data, producing documents, automating workflows, and building team tools.
The managed offering significantly reduces the operational overhead associated with deploying and maintaining Cloudflare OS. Users can launch their organization's agent workspace with a few clicks in the Cloudflare dashboard, specifying a custom domain, applicable Cloudflare Access policies, and the AI Gateway to connect. Cloudflare will handle the underlying infrastructure and maintenance.
While the open-source version offers full control, it requires manual configuration, operation, and updates. The managed option allows organizations to define access controls, available agent skills, and system reach, while Cloudflare manages the rest. This approach democratizes access to powerful agent workspace capabilities, making them more accessible to a broader range of businesses.
In addition to the managed service, Cloudflare has expanded the capabilities of Cloudflare OS. New features include the ability to mount Git repositories, enabling agents to explore codebases, fix bugs, add features, and manage pull requests directly. This integration allows agents to search, edit, commit, and push code to platforms like GitHub.
Further enhancements focus on Google Workspace integration. Cloudflare OS can now interact with Gmail to read, research, and draft emails, and can connect to Google Drive for accessing specific folders or individual documents and spreadsheets. This deepens the platform's utility for workflows heavily reliant on Google's suite of productivity tools.
Cloudflare OS also introduces improved export functionalities, allowing work created within the platform to be exported into common formats such as Excel (.xlsx), CSV, PDF, Markdown, and HTML. Support for Microsoft Word (.docx) and PowerPoint (.pptx) is forthcoming. Tools built within Cloudflare OS can also define custom export formats, such as calendar files (.ics), enhancing interoperability with existing workflows.
Organizations interested in the fully managed Cloudflare OS can join the waitlist through the Cloudflare dashboard. The open-source version remains available for those who prefer to deploy and manage it within their own Cloudflare accounts.
