Destination hostnames and fallback resolver domains are hidden by joining split string fragments at runtime to evade static inspection. The downloaded binary is written to /var/tmp or %TEMP% under a disguised name (`.cache_<hex>` or `dotnet_diag_<hex>.exe`), chmodded to 0755, and spawned detached via /bin/sh -c or cmd.exe. Naming choices (`analytics_state`, `DISABLE_TELEMETRY`, `dotnet_diag_*.exe`) and a cooldown stamp present the behavior as benign telemetry while the code fetches and executes attacker-controlled native code on every consumer that imports the package. The DNS-TXT fallback provides a covert delivery channel that bypasses HTTP egress controls.
