Campaign: GENERIC-standard-pypi-install-pentest Reasons (based on the campaign): - The package contains code to exfiltrate basic data from the system, like IP or username. It has a limited risk. - The package overrides the install command in setup.py to execute malicious code during installation. --- Credit: [OpenSSF](https://github.com/ossf/malicious-packages) ([source](https://github.com/ossf/malicious-packages/blob/ffc17eabd46a92d2a88e5c4ed3753783b4708ad6/osv/malicious/pypi/flyteplugins-redis/MAL-2026-14584.json)) **References:** - https://bad-packages.kam193.eu/pypi/package/flyteplugins-redis - https://github.com/ossf/malicious-packages/blob/ffc17eabd46a92d2a88e5c4ed3753783b4708ad6/osv/malicious/pypi/flyteplugins-redis/MAL-2026-14584.json - https://github.com/advisories/GHSA-23fv-6cgr-766g
