Attack vector
An authenticated attacker submits crafted POST requests to db_loader.php containing malicious SQL payloads in the ticketsdb, ticketshost, ticketsuser, or ticketspassword parameters. These unsanitized values are echoed directly into hidden INPUT fields [patch_id=1260410]. When the form is submitted, the values are concatenated into mysqli connection arguments and dynamic SQL queries operating against an attacker-controlled database, allowing the attacker to alter query semantics. The attacker must have valid authentication (PR:L) but can exploit the vulnerability over the network without additional privileges.
Affected code
The vulnerability is in db_loader.php, where six POST parameters (ticketshost, ticketsdb, ticketsuser, ticketspassword, ticketsprefix, db_schema) are printed directly into hidden INPUT VALUE attributes without any sanitization.
